What is NNU Income Program?
According to the information gleaned from their “About NNU Income Program and How It Works page“, NNU Income Program is an ads revenue sharing and affiliate system for its members to earn residual income online on monthly basis.
This income earning opportunity is a two-way earning opportunity which is broken down as follows:
- NARS: NNU Ad Revenue Sharing – With NARS, participants earn residual income bonus by login in to their NNU account daily, reading news, comment, posting forum topics and even share assigned sponsored post on social media. The management of NNU share their ads revenue with participants monthly.
- NAP: NNU Affiliate Program – With NAP, participants automatically become affiliates when their accounts get approved after registration. Thereafter, they have the opportunity of being able to earn a commission of 62.5% per referral on anyone who join NNU income through their referral link and get approved. Note: NNU activation fee is
N1,600. So, participants earn 62.5% = N1,000 naira commission when anyone successfully registers on NNU Income Program through their referral links and get approved.

N50 or more depending on daily revenue share.

Yes, you do. You will need to pay a sum of

So, if you are looking for how to make money online in Nigeria without spending a dime, NNU is definitely not for you.
Can you make money in Nigeria with 1000 naira on NNU?
No, certainly not. You need the sum of
N1,600 to activate your account and start making money online in Nigeria on the NNU platform. Therefore, NNU is not among the list of online businesses in Nigeria where you can make money with one thousand naira or even less on the internet.

- Payment is made on a piecemeal basis.
- You now need referrals for you to get paid.

Who is behind NNU Income Program?
NNU Income Program is an initiative conjoined with Nigeria News Update platform, nnu.ng. Additionally, the “About Us” page of the website reveals that NNU Income Program (NIP) is:
“a financial solution not a quick rich scheme and it’s a Double Your Hustle (DYH) idea created July, 2017 by a young Nigerian netpreneur Paul Samson under the auspices of G-Cyber Technologies, a professional web and ICT business registered under Corporate Affairs Commission (2453653).”
The information on their “About Us” page further reveal that Paul Samson is an internet marketer, affiliate marketer, freelancer and a Blogger who has achieved a lot and already made a good living using internet daily. He is also the owner of Coolnaira.com, a referral network with over 70,000 active members, a network which they claim has paid out over 15 million Naira within 1 year+ and still running smoothly.
The mission of NNU, according to the site, is “dealing with financial problems in Nigeria among the youths, students, middle class and whoever that wish to take advantage of earning opportunity and making money online legitimately as it creates the channel for participant to earn passive income on monthly basis.”
Is NNU Income Program legally registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission in Nigeria?
NNU per say is not registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission in Nigeria. However, NNU was created under the auspices of G-Cyber Technologies, a professional web and ICT business registered under Corporate Affairs Commission (2453653).
Do the operator(s) of NNU Income Program have a contact address to reach them?
We could not find a “Contact Us” page on the NNU website. But, there is an “About Us” page which does not provide any information on how to reach the owner(s) of the site.
There is a “Support” page though which simply has the following single-line information on it as follows: “Click here to use instant reply thread or Email Us: Support@nnu.ng |”.
When you click the “Click here” link it will take you directly to the Go Social website – a replica of Facebook.com, which is presumably owned by G-Cyber Technologies too.
When you click on Sign Up, the following registration page will be displayed.
After you sign up on the GoSocial website, you will be taken to the home page as shown below.
A quick check at the whois info of NNU.ng reveal the following:
You can see from the above whois information about NNU, they do not have a contact address, aside from their email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Do the operator(s) of NNU Income Program have a physical office?
Since there is no contact address, but only an official email address, on the site, we can safely assume that NNU does not have a physical office address. You can refer back to the whois information of the site above to confirm that there is no address to use to locate the physical office (if any) of NNU. It is not as if there is anything wrong with that though.
What proof is there that you can make money in Nigeria with NNU?
So, what proof is there that you can actually make money in Nigeria with the NNU Income Program?
Well, let the facts speak for themselves.
The first testimonial we will look at is that of Prosper Noah of prospernoah.com. He has the following to say about the NNU Income Program:
“They claim It’s a legitimate online business in Nigeria where you can make at least
N50,000+ monthly [depends on your activeness] doing just a few tasks such as posting a status on Facebook, leaving comments on posts by sharing your views, referring others etc.
“In June I got paid
N25,000 and in July I made N130,000 and in August I was Paid N158,000 see proofs below;”
We also find more testimonials on NNU Income Facebook page as follows:
You will see from the above that apart from Okoro Joseph Ruth who was paid
N11,000, every other person got below N10,000 as NNU Income paid for the month of October 2018.
So, how did Prosper Noah get paid
N25,000, N130,000 and N158,000 in June, July and August 2018 respectively?
Noah Prosper puts it this way in his post titled: “NNU Income Program Review: Warning!!! Don’t Invest Yet, Read this first”:
“I understand that you don’t want to be scammed and I want to let you know that this program is super legit let’s call it 100% legit. Take note though that you need lot of referral to make huge amount of money from the platform.“
I think if you ask Prosper Noah now about the legitimacy of the NNU Income Program, he will surely have a different thing to say.
Is the NNU Income Program a scam or a legit way of making money online in Nigeria?
Paul Samson, the creator of the NNU Income Program, certainly feels that the NNU Income Program is a legit way of making money online in Nigeria. The website claims that: “Making ₦10,000 – ₦50,000 on NNU Income is 100% sure and guarantee monthly if you join us today, understand the concept and put it to work. With only one time payment of ₦1,600 a lot of Nigerians have been earning ₦50,000 – ₦100,000 monthly on NNU Income”.
He also claim that the NNU Income Program is “profitable, sustainable, convincing and suitable for whoever that wish to take advantage of online earning opportunity as it creates the channel for participant to earn passive income on monthly basis”.
So, is the NNU Income Program a legit way of making money online in Nigeria or a scam?
Let us first understand what a scam is before providing an answer to that question.
So, what is a scam?
The online dictionary defines a scam simply as “a dishonest scheme, a fraud”. So, the motive of a scam is to swindle unsuspecting persons of their money.
1. It must offer ridiculously high returns
2. There is discrepancy between what was promised on the “About the Program and How It Works” page and the actual payouts to participants.
3. The operators decline payment of money due to participants on various flimsy excuses.
So, based on the foregoing, is the NNU Income Program a scam?
Let the facts speak for themselves and you be the judge of it all.
- Lots of participants testify that they are earning money on the NNU platform. But the money they make from NNU is peanuts as the highest income in recent times is not commensurate to the time, energy and even data expended on the site.
- The terms and conditions of the NNU Income Program says that you do not need to refer anyone in order to earn from the program. In reality, however, only those with referrals are paid. Those without referrals do not earn any money from the program.
- There is delay in payments, which is not good for the growth of the system at all.
- Preference is given to people with UBA bank accounts.
On his part, Kome Itoje joined NNU on 25th September 2018 based on the recommendation of some close friends. His intention of joining the program was to ascertain the authenticity of the NNU Income Program.
So, what did he find out?
Well, he participated in all the various options of making money on the NNU Income website. He accumulated over
N22,000 in his NARS earnings and N5,000 in his NAP account.
He applied for withdrawal one month later and waited for his GTB account to be credited. You will notice from the image above that the sum of
N8k out of the over N27k he earned in the month of October 2018 was stipulated to be paid to him.
It is noteworthy that he had
N5k referral bonus and over N22k ad revenue sharing earnings. But, only N3,000 of the ad revenue sharing earnings and the N5k referral bonus, totaling N8k, was slated for payment to him.
It is remarkable, however, that the money was yet to be paid into his bank account as at the time of updating this post on 12th November, 2019 – despite the STATUS of COMPLETED that was displayed against the payments in his Account dashboard.
Kome Itoje was NEVER PAID. And his referrals too were never paid.
Is that a program that you say is 100% legit and scam-free?
Here is what Timothy Otimopeolas, an NNU coupon code agent, had to say about the delay in payments by the NNU management below:
“THE SLIGHT DELAY IN PAYMENT IS AS A RESULT OF NEED FOR VERIFICATION BY HUMANS LIKE U. PLS KNOW THAT EVEN PRESENTLY AS I TYPE THIS MSG, NNU IS SERIOUSLY WORKING ON A WAY TO AUTOMATE THIS PAYMENTS.”
He referred to the delay as “slight”, but the truth is that some payments which were due in September were only paid in November, two months after. That is not good at all.
So, what do you think?
Is the NNU Income Program a scam? Our honest assessment and conclusion is that NNU Income Program is a scam.
The process is not as transparent as it should be. We do not understand why payment of participants must be based on their referrals. And why referral income that has been earned must be delayed for upwards of three months.
Without a doubt, the NNU Income Program has definitely crashed, just like its predecessor (MMM) crashed before it.

Consequently, it is our sincere and honest opinion that if you are looking for a legitimate way to make REAL MONEY on the internet, then NNU is not the program for you!
But, if you insist on continuing and you join NNU, when payments earned by you in a month are paid in piecemeal and even delayed for several months, please be patient and do not complain.
