Step #1: Choose a Reputable Network Marketing Company
Do you remember the statement of billionaire Donald Trump quoted earlier?
Here is his statement once again to refresh your memory:
I would find a GOOD NETWORK MARKETING COMPANY and get to work.
From that statement above, it simply means that it is not all network marketing company that you should join.
So, how do know which network marketing company is good enough to join?
It is simple.
A network marketing company must meet the following criteria in order to qualify as a “good network marketing company” to join:
1. The network marketing company must have top quality products which solve people’s problems.
2. The network marketing company must have great business compensation plan for its members and partners.
3. The network marketing company must have a great reputation worldwide of being trustworthy and honest in its dealings with all stakeholders of the company.
If the above 3 factors are in place, it will become easy for you to believe in the network marketing company that you wish to join and promote their products. Hence, you will be more likely to succeed in your network marketing business faster than any other way.

To this end, you need to make Google your friend in this information-gathering exercise. You need to ask the right questions on Google about the company you are putting on the radar. Some of these questions are as follows:
- Who are the founders of the company?
- Where is their headquarters located?
- What is the acceptance rating in their home country?
- Who are the company’s top investors and shareholders?
- What is the track record of the company?
- Does the company keep to its promise?
- Do they have good business compensation plan?
And so on.
Additionally, you also want to get firsthand information about all the products of the company too. You can make use of YouTube too to get this information.
You also need to use some of the products too to verify the authenticity of the quality of those products. In my network marketing experience, I have discovered that you get more results when you speak about the benefits of the products that you have used than merely sharing the experience of others.
This will further help to strengthen your faith in the company.
Step #3: Duplicate Yourself Quickly
The next step in starting a career and succeeding in network marketing fast is to duplicate yourself very quickly. One way to duplicate yourself quickly is by registering your family members under you before bringing in outsiders into your team.
Another way to duplicate yourself is by regular training of your team members. By providing this much-needed training, you will be building a strong team of network marketers that can stand the test of time and can adequately represent you at all times.
Step #4: Use Every Resources Available
The fourth step in starting a hugely successful career in network marketing fast is to use every resources available.
Personally, I do not like wasting my saliva preaching from dawn till dusk about my network marketing business to people. I adopt the principle of saying less to more people.
So, I make use of third-party tools such as YouTube Videos, website posts, online chat group or meeting, a webinar, an audio recording, video recording, pdf reports, and any other thing that allows me to be at the background and make the presentation to them.
Step #5: Follow Up Promptly
Finally, you need to follow up promptly when recruiting people into your team.
This is where many people get it wrong with their network marketing business. They present the business to many people in one single run like a marathon runner in a race. But, when it comes to doing follow up, they come up short.
What you need to know is that most people will not join your business the first time you present it to them. And that is because they may be involved in something else that is occupying their time and attention.
So, what you want to do is to take them from one exposure to another exposure to another exposure until they join your network marketing business.
Here is how Charles Tambou, a 2 Star Director with Longrich Bioscience International, puts it:.
“The only time we will stop going after these people is when they have joined us or they are dead.”
Step #6: Create a Website
If you don’t have a personal website already, now is the time to create one. Your website is the place you will ultimately send your visitors to collect lead information, make online sales, and much more.
If you have a network of 5,000 Facebook connections, you might not see any need to have a website. But take note that you are not Mack. So, you do not own Facebook and your account could be closed at any time for violating their rules. That would mean instant loss of your 5,000 connections on Facebook.
But, if you have a website, you will not worry about losing the information of your website followers and subscribers. Mind you, when you collect leads off of your website (names, email addresses, phone numbers, etc.), you will own those leads. You can back them up, export them, and contact them at any time by reaching their inbox or their mobile.
No one can take those leads away from you. That’s the truth.
Hence, you will want to create a website that has a minimum of one page’s worth of content that tells who you are, what you do, who you can help, and how you can help. That page should include a contact form or email list sign form (or both) so that people who are interested in buying your products or becoming a member of your team can submit their information to learn more from you.
Step #7: Create a Presence on the Top Social Networks
Of course, having your own website doesn’t mean that social media will be useless. Networking on social media is a great way to build relationships and drive traffic to your website so you can gather important leads for your network marketing business.
If you choose only one social network to join and actively participate upon, it should be Facebook. Facebook is the most popular social network in the world. It has the most active daily users and thus, has the most opportunity for you to connect with potential customers and sales recruits.
- You can use your personal profile to connect directly with people.
- You can use your page to advertise to people.
- You can use groups to get people interested in your network marketing business to convene and engage with each other.
- Twitter should be the second choice for your network marketing business. I recommend this network because you can engage with just about anyone, regardless of whether they are connected with you or not. This makes Twitter a great place to meet new customers and sales recruits.
- From there, a lot will have to do with the nature of your network marketing business. If your business is related to B2B or selling to business professionals, try LinkedIn. If it is B2C and retail based, try Pinterest.
